Case Studies

Proof lives in the problems solved.

A selection of the kinds of business and technology challenges CyberLogix has tackled. Client identities are intentionally omitted here.

Recovery 01

Recovering a business after ransomware

Challenge & approach

A ransomware incident threatened critical systems and files. CyberLogix isolated affected systems, assessed the damage, restored operations from protected backups, and strengthened the environment to reduce future exposure.

Result

Reliable backup changed a potentially catastrophic event into a recoverable one.

Backups are not really backups until you can restore them.
Infrastructure 02

Making multiple offices behave like one

Challenge & approach

A business needed employees at multiple locations to reliably access centralized applications and data. CyberLogix designed secure site-to-site connectivity and centralized application delivery without forcing a cloud-only redesign of the business.

Result

Employees across locations gained consistent access to the systems they needed while important resources remained under company control.

Architecture should fit the business, not the fashion of the moment.
Networking 03

The “fast” network that was not fast

Challenge & approach

A client with high-speed Internet service still had persistent network and wireless complaints. Instead of assuming the ISP was the problem, CyberLogix traced the environment across Wi-Fi, switching, client behavior and upstream connectivity.

Result

The real bottlenecks could be identified and corrected instead of repeatedly treating symptoms at individual computers.

Bandwidth is only one ingredient of network performance.
Software 04

Modernizing years of business logic

Challenge & approach

A mature custom business system had accumulated years of valuable workflow knowledge, but critical portions needed modernization. CyberLogix progressively rebuilt document generation, pricing, payment handling, validation and operational safeguards while preserving familiar workflows.

Result

The organization gained new reliability and capabilities without discarding years of embedded business knowledge.

Old software is not automatically bad software. Sometimes the right move is careful modernization.
Automation 05

Turning complex pricing rules into software

Challenge & approach

Pricing, tax and business rules required consistent calculation while still giving authorized staff appropriate flexibility. CyberLogix moved the rules into the business application with validation, automation and auditability.

Result

Pricing became more consistent and easier to manage while reducing repetitive calculation and avoidable errors.

If a spreadsheet has become a business-critical application, it may be telling you something.
Integration 06

Connecting systems nobody expected to connect

Challenge & approach

A project required coordination between devices, networks and software that were never designed as a single system. CyberLogix combined network engineering, software development and protocol-level integration to bridge the components.

Result

Existing equipment gained useful capabilities without requiring wholesale replacement.

Unsupported and impossible are not synonyms.
Web + Software 07

Making the website part of the business

Challenge & approach

A web presence needed to become more than marketing pages. CyberLogix combined design, custom application logic, database integration, secure account functions, online payments, generated documents, mobile-friendly workflows and the hosting infrastructure behind it.

Result

What began as a website became a useful business system that customers and staff could actually interact with.

The browser is an interface, not a limitation.

Have one of these?

Or something completely different?
